Interactive Information Kiosk Installed at Europe Square in Travnik as part of the CROSSMART Project
The Office for European Integration of the Government of the Central Bosnia Canton, as a partner in the CROSSMART – Crossborder Development Platform for Smart and Precise Agriculture and Agripreneurship Advancement project, has successfully installed and launched an interactive information kiosk.
The kiosk is located at Europe Square in Travnik, in the city centre, ensuring easy access for citizens, farmers, and all interested visitors.
The kiosk provides information about the CROSSMART project, its activities, and events. Of particular importance are the data collected from the agrometeorological stations installed across the Central Bosnia Canton. Users can monitor real-time weather data for individual locations, including temperature, air humidity, precipitation, wind speed and direction, as well as other relevant meteorological indicators.
In addition to basic weather information, the kiosk provides access to agrometeorological data and forecasts that support farmers in planning agricultural activities, protecting crops, and making timely production decisions. The kiosk also features information on the cultural heritage and tourist attractions of the Central Bosnia Canton.
The CROSSMART project is funded under the Interreg VI-A IPA Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro Programme 2021–2027. Its objective is to develop digital solutions and promote the application of smart technologies in agriculture through cross-border cooperation among partner institutions.
